Move Nature Up The Search Rankings

Search Rankings

“We use clicks and CTR for very specific things at Google, for example for personalization. If you search for ‘apple’ for example, then first we will not know what you mean, do you mean the fruit or do you mean the company?
If you repeatedly click on results related to the company, then we will learn that you possibly mean the company for future searches.”

– Gary Illyes, Webmaster Trends Analyst at Google, SMX Advanced, 22nd June 2016.
